Vilaciència 2025

From April 10th to 12th, we participated in the Vilaciència science fair, held in Vila-real, where we presented Taquión, our early forest fire detection system.

 

During the event, we shared our proposal with students, teachers, families, and professionals in the scientific field. It was an enriching experience in which we were able to explain how Taquión combines technology and environmental awareness to prevent natural disasters and save lives.

 

In addition to presenting the device, we also shared our awareness campaigns, educational workshops, and reforestation initiatives, which are part of the project's comprehensive approach. Vilaciència has given us the opportunity to learn, be inspired, and reaffirm our commitment to the planet.

 

Winners of the Vilaciència 2025 First Prize. The prize consists of a €1,200 scholarship to participate in the Luxembourg International Science Expo (LISE), next November in Luxembourg.
